A unique Artists commission has successfully been installed at the Main Entrance to the new hospital extension at Dudley in the West Midlands. Our Director David Spensley and Newcastle based Artist Laura Johnston from Bluesky Environments Ltd have worked closely over the past year to create what can only be described as a breath taking piece of work.Using specialist Stainless Steel wires and round bar, the Main structure which housed light deflecting glass, was over 3000mm in diameter and suspended over 4000mm from the floor, Spotlights were directed onto the glass, of which there were over 30 separate pieces to create a wonderful ambience of colour.
