HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE REST

Aycliffe Fabrications were delighted to be awarded the Community Award at the recent 'Star Radio' Business Awards held at the Excel Centre, Newton Aycliffe.

The award was for the work Aycliffe Fabrications did with local schools during the manufacture of 'In our Image' the sculpture by Joseph Hillier. The sculpture was built in Aycliffe Fabrications specially designed workshop which had viewing windows and teaching room to enable more than 1000 local school children to take part in what was to become a local landmark.

Aycliffe Fabrications carry out work in many local schools, providing them with a variety of products from handrails, fencing and gates, to stainless steel cladding in the kitchen to canopies which can extend the teaching area into the outside environment.

They are very grateful for the contribution the work from local schools makes to their company and constantly look for ways to put something back into the community by taking part in school workshops, Young Enterprise, Future Business Magnates etc.
