Our skilled tradesmen are highly qualified and can offer the benefit of many years experience. This experience is also passed on to our apprentices who are our skilled tradesmen of the future.
We have always had a policy of training apprentices and our workforce consists of skilled tradesmen who have served their apprenticeship with us and apprentices who are in the process of doing so. The only way to be certain of a well-qualified and capable workforce is to train our own employees and over the years we have invested hugely in this training to give us the highly skilled workforce we have today.
We were delighted to be presented with an award from County Durham Development Company naming Aycliffe Fabrications 'EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR 2003' and believe this award recognises the commitment we have to developing our workforce.
Over the last year we have committed ourselves to registering ALL of our workforce with CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) and have been able to apply for a GOLD CERTIFICATE OF COMMITMENT.
